Sound In Silence is happy to welcome back The Green Kingdom, presenting his new album Arcadian.

The Green Kingdom is the solo project of Michael Cottone, a sound artist and graphic designer based in Michigan, USA. Interested in creating compositions which blur the lines between soundscape and structure while keeping a sharp focus on melody, his pieces are crafted using a variety of instruments, electronic sources, sampled textures and field recordings.
Since 2006 he has released several wonderful albums and EPs on labels such as Lost Tribe Sound, Dronarivm, Home Assembly Music, Hidden Vibes, Past Inside The Present and many others.

This is his fourth album on the label after the highly acclaimed Seen And Unseen in 2018, Solaria in 2021 and Voyager in 2022.

Arcadian is a gorgeous album of floating ambience and enchanting soundscapes, consisting of nine new tracks with a total duration of 41 minutes, carefully mastered by George Mastrokostas (Absent Without Leave).
Arcadian is something rural, rustic, or pastoral, especially suggesting simple, innocent contentment. Inspired by the definition of Arcadian, Cottone wanted the music of his new album to be contemplative, ideal for considering simpler, less chaotic times when we lived in harmony with nature.
